Re: Analysis of Vital Energy Q1 results
Question: I used the consensus estimate off Yahoo Finance of EPS 1.94, but then found Zacks reported a new "consensus" of a lower estimate of $1.78, hence my post: EPS Beat was $1.84 a surprise of 3.3% over the expected $1.78. Is there a reliable source that the street worships prior to ea...

Re: Permian Resources (PR) Valuation Update - May 8
Dan, I would have expected a 6% increase in SP after the ER, instead PR got beat down. Came back a lot but finished in down 1.3%. Very frustrating to see this sort of manipulation. Thoughts?

Re: Analysis of Ring Energy Q1 results
"Ring just needs to stay focused on generating free cash flow to pay down debt." Dan, that 422 million and 1.67 Leverage ratio is daunting. Many on the discussion boards on Yahoo Finance were disappointed in the 3M paydown on debt. Meanwhile the CEO is making 3.7 million.

Re: EIA shows a big Build, almost 2X of API yesterday
WTI and Brent were both impacted by the builds on API/EIA numbers. However, the uncertainty in the market relative to the Fed announcement today added some additional hot sauce. I look for a pull back above 80. Lower is better relative to getting a rate cut out of the FED for July and/or September.
