Natura gas prices won't be impacted by a virus - Nov 27

Trading Economics:
"US natural gas futures (JAN22) closed at $5.47 per million British thermal units on November 26, the highest in over a week, amid signs of decreasing domestic stockpiles coupled with robust foreign demand. Government figures showed natural gas stockpiles shrank by 21 bcf in the week ending November 19th, the first sign of shrinking inventories since March. Abroad, cold weather and tight inventory levels in Asia and Europe, along with the suspension of the Nord Stream 2 certification, has kept demand for natural gas exports at high levels. Also, reports showed the world’s three largest LNG importers, China, Japan, and South Korea, are expected to increase discharges of natural gas to 17.77 million tonnes in November, compared to 15.41 million tonnes in October and the most since February."

LNG prices are $30.86 in Europe and $36.21 in Japan/Korea.
