Oasis Petroleum (OAS) Update - Nov 29

Post by dan_s »

I have posted an updated profile and forecast model for OAS to the EPG website.

OAS is trading for $7.50 today and the First Call price target is $15.50.
> The Wall Street Gang doesn't believe anyone can make money in the Williston Basin if oil stays at $50/bbl. Oasis can.
In 2017, Oasis reported $0.52 EPS and operating CFPS of $2.39 with realized commodity prices of $48.00/bbl of oil and natural gas (includes NGLs) of $3.86/mcfe
> By this time next year, Oasis will have production over 100,000 Boepd (~75% crude oil).

If you believe WTI will stay over $50/bbl, you should take a hard look at OAS.
> Focus on production growth and operating cash flow per share.
> Plus, OAS will report a big increase in their proven reserves this year.

For High Yield dividends: Oasis Midstream Partners (OMP) really looks good. They should be increasing distributions to their unitholders by 5% per quarter through at least 2020.
