InPlay Oil (IPOOF) Update - Jan 16

Post by dan_s »

IPOOF closed at $0.29US on Friday, Jan 15.
I have updated my forecast/valuation model based on their recently released 2021 capital program. My current valuation increases by $0.10 to $0.60US/share, due to a sharp increase in their production and a commitment to use free cash flow to

InPlay Oil and Hemisphere Energy (HMENF) are my two favorite Canadian Juniors. Hemisphere has more near-term upside because it is trading below 1X my operating cash flow per share forecast for 2021 and they have a project planned for this summer that should push production above my forecast.

InPlay may have more upside in a $65/bbl WTI price because they have a large potentially extremely valuable leasehold position in the Duvernay Shale Play in Southern Alberta. Read my recent profile on InPlay.
