I suggest folks look at Magnum Hunter and do the diligence. Nice small cap with great upside with their presnese in the eagleford and marcellus. Also have a pipeline asset. Successful management team that brought the old MHR public and then sold out to XEC. CEO Gary Evans knows how deal as he was a former banker with great finance relationships. We now await eagleford drilling this month. Another JV just announced. Stay tuned. Maybe this should be number 17 ?

Much better management team in place now with Gary Evans. They do have upside in the Eagle Ford.

Just keep in mind that it will be awhile before they generate a profitable quarter so it will be a rough ride.

MHR deserves a look but not Sweet 16 quality yet. JMHO of course.

For those of you looking for divvys, MHR has a preferred stock that pays 10.25%. It trades for 25 and is callable for $25 approximately one year out, so this is probably not a long term thing, but nothing wrong with 10.25% for a year.
