Chart question

Dan,
In your podcast this week, the chart "Light Crude Oil Futures" has what looks like daily volume bar graphs across the lower portion. Those bar graphs appear to drop to nothing on a regular interval. Just wondering if I see that correctly, and could you tell us why such a pattern? Thanks for your input.

I'm not sure of this, but the chart is tracking the front month NYMEX contract for WTI. I think the trading volume goes to zero on the day the front month rolls over to the next month.
