Susan's friend Diane runs "Second Chance Poms" in Lake Jackson, Texas. See put together a team that rescued 13 pomeranians from an abandoned trailer that was turned over by Hurricane Laura in Lake Charles, LA.
The dogs were in terrible condition but they have been taken to vets in the Houston area and are now all expected to live. An elderly man owned the dogs. His wife had died several years ago. She was a breeder but he was not able to take care of the dogs. From the pictures the dogs had not been groomed in several years. The man was rescued but had to be hospitalized. The first responders reported the dogs but it took over a week before they were able to be taken from the overturned trailer.
Diane is now trying to find people to adopt the dogs. The women is a saint.
