Occidental Petroleum (OXY) reported a non-GAAP net income of $2.12 per share, up from a loss of $0.15 during the same quarter in 2021. Total net sales for the energy major increased more than 55% to $8.53 billion compared with $5.48 billion in year-ago sales.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ, on average, had been expecting Occidental to earn $2.03 per share, excluding one-time items, on $8.06 billion in revenue during the three months ended March 31.

I don't know him, but it seems to me that some analysts just don't like a certain company. Ignore the outliers unless they provide detail on what they don't like.
I like Stifel, Raymond James and Truist Financial because I think they have more accurate commodity price decks.
