Notes below are from my friends that work over at AEGIS Hedging Solutions.

Golden Pass is estimated to be commercial in-service July 2024-July 2025, although the developer has announced that mechanical completion is expected in 2H 2024, with first LNG in early 2025.

Plaquemines LNG is expected to start between March 2025 and September 2026, with likely an extended commissioning timeline.

Corpus Christi Stage 3 is hopeful that first LNG from the trains can be produced in 2024 (faster-than-anticipated). However, commercial operations for start-ups are projected between June 2026 and Dec 2027.

Notes above are from S&P, but as we look across vendors, there is some disparity and different guesswork each accounts for, so timelines can differ.

The "noise" coming out of the Biden Administration about not approving new LNG export facilities is political BS. The three facilities above are fully approved and should start increasing natural gas demand in 9-12 months. Keep in mind that these facilities are MASSIVE construction projects and delays are common, especially when everything needs to be tested.
America has a significant trade deficit. Exporting LNG is needed to help solve that serious problem.

Excerpts from latest Doomberg piece Alone in the Foxhole

By trapping natural gas domestically, Biden’s decision ensures home heating costs and electricity bills will remain depressed, giving the economy a temporary sugar high just as campaign season is gearing up and further shrinking the possibility of a recession in the near term. (An artificial abundance of natural gas might even neutralize some of the inflationary impact of introducing more renewables onto the country’s various electricity grids.)

The LNG decision is part of a pattern of moves that indicate the Biden administration understands the role hydrocarbons play in our economy and is willing to use the power of his pen for raw political purposes. Famously, the President drained the Strategic Petroleum Reserve when confronted with the most recent energy crisis, tossing aside national security concerns. Although the DOE has been refilling the reserves now that the crisis has passed, they are doing so at a glacial pace, citing “physical limitations.”
