Lightstream

Post by dan_s »

On July 11, 2014, Lightstream repurchased approximately US$44 million principal amount of outstanding 8.625% Senior Notes due 2020 from a note holder for an aggregate purchase price of US$47.6 million, including accrued interest. The repurchased notes are being retired and a total of US$856 million aggregate principal amount of 8.625% Senior Notes remain outstanding. The repurchase was financed through the company's secured credit facility and results in incremental interest savings of approximately $2.5 million per annum.

Lightstream is heavily weighted to oil. Asset sales and free cash flows from operations are being used to pay off debt and the balance sheet should be in good shape at year-end.

Here is an interesting take on Lightstream

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/debt-doub ... 00256.html

My Fair Value Estimate for Lightstream is $14.00Cdn/share. It closed on July 25 at $7.40Cdn.

LIghtstream pays a monthly dividend of $0.04Cdn for annual yield of 6.5%. The company generates free cash flows, so the dividend is solid.

Lightstream Resources (LSTMF): An updated profile has been posted under the Watch List Tab.

My Fair Value Estimate of $14/share is just 4X CFPS.
