Re: declining production
Keep in mind that I am always on the lookout for companies that are increasing production. I look at a lot of other companies that I never mention here.
Most of the production in the United States is from large-caps which I do not cover. They have slashed their budgets and their production is declining. Plus, a lot of U.S. production comes from non-public companies, which have shut down all drilling and they have shut in a lot of sub-economic striper wells.
As a group, production for the Sweet 16 peaked during the first half of this year. Their total YOY production will be up, but production will be on decline from Q2 to Q3.
Sweet 16 which will report declining production in Q3 include: CRZO, CXO, XEC, CLR, DVN, EOG, LPI, MTDR, NFX, OAS, SM
