RSP Permian (RSPP)

Post by dan_s »

My valuation for RSPP is $29.70/share. Roth Capital sent me their updated report on the company. Below are their comments.
I was very impressed by the RSPP team at EnerCom. These guys know what they are doing and their leasehold in the Permian Basin definitely has some good rocks. - Dan

Our net asset value and target price are based on proved and probable
reserves, financial position, and historical and expected drilling and completion
results. We have incorporated RSPP’s increase in proved reserves and lower
operating costs and we are increasing our NAV and our target price from $29
to $33, and our Buy rating is maintained.

Strong Well Results in Glasscock County, Texas: We think one of the significant
highlights of the results were the recent wells in Glasscock County, Texas.
RSPP stated these Glasscock County wells have generated the highest
initial production rates of the entire RSPP horizontal well portfolio. This is, in
our opinion, a strong statement, considering, heretofore, the RSPP wells in
Midland and Martin Counties were some of the best shale wells in the U.S.

These Glasscock County wells are also a positive data point for Earthstone
Energy (ESTE-Buy), which recently agreed to acquire a large acreage position
in this same general portion of Glasscock County.
