My brother-in-law (Steve) had open heart surgery today, a triple bypass. Steve is married to my younger sister and he is close to my age.

He seems to be doing fine and is expected to be out of the hospital in about a week.

Stuff like this is a reminder that life is short and each day we are healthy is a blessing.
