First Call

Post by dan_s »

I know that most of you don't check the First Call estimates for EPS, CFPS and price targets like I do (several times each day), but maybe you should at least once a week.

Since Concho Resources announced their Q4 results last week, First Call's price target has jumped $5.00/share to $167.66 and only about half of the forecast models used in FC's estimates have been updated. First Call's EPS estimate for 2017 has more than doubled.

I have an E-Trade account. There you can see the First Call price target, EPS, CFPS and Revenue Forecast. They are updated daily.

Also on Yahoo Finance you can see the First Call price target.

I show First Call's EPS, CFPS and Revenue forecasts on the bottom of each forecast model, which you can view on the EPG website. Just remember that they are as of the date of the forecast.

Keep in mind that Wall Street analysts may calculate these numbers a bit different than I do.

The most important thing to look at is operating cash flow per share. See the Red Box on each of my forecast/valuation models.
