Re: Oil Demand
Until recently it has been a source of some comfort amid the carnage that gasoline demand, the biggest demand driver, has been quite strong all year. But the last few weekly petroleum status reports have showed flat demand compared to last year despite the price being much lower. Have you noticed th...

Re: Crude Oil Storage Report - June 24
Seems to be a good storage number, but what I keep scratching my head about is the continuing increase in domestic production. This week the EIA report shows that production in the lower 48 went up another 76,000 bpd. Where the hell is it coming from?

Re: EXXI--5 reasons to buy
Seems to be no bottom. I'll own a hefty slug when options expire this weekend. Still the story makes sense and the people are reputable. Company buying back shares, production set to increase with additional rigs, etc. Who is selling and why? Maybe only the shadow knows>

Re: Energy XXI

Looks like ill get a good many shares on options expiration this month. They are growing reserves and prod...

Re: Utica
EVEP has a bunch of Utica acreage all HBP (held by production). CHK and others are actively making deals with them to drill it.

Tenaris (TS) will benefit too. They are big suppliers of pipe to the Saudis.

Re: ATPG
Production in excess of 7,000 bpd is a the low end of the scale of the estimate given, however, it is from only two of four sands. Does this mean we can expect increased production? Are the other two sands going to be produced now or not until production declines from the two now producing? So is th...

Re: ATPG
Dan,
If they announced the expected flow rate was 6-8,000 bopd this is a reduction from the 7-10,000 bopd they have previously estimated. Why the reduced estimate? Any info? Thanks.
By the way, exceptional job you did with the TGA writeup in the latest View From Houston.
