Re: EIA - Weekly Petroleum Report - Apr 24
Demand seems a bit weak. I watch the 4-week average more closely than the weekly number. Diesel is especially week. A weakening economy would explain it, but supposedly the economy is strong. I have my doubts about that. I'm glad production is not increasing.

REPX
REPX prices its public offering at $27.00. Why would it have to be priced so far below the current market? 2.1 million shares being sold; 1.4 million by "certain company stockholders", 700,000 shares by the company. Any idea who the selling stockholders are? Stock is down over $6 per share...

Re: REPX 3rd Qtr Results
Wow. What a drubbing. I picked up a few more shares because I saw nothing that seemed to justify such a drop in price. But I am concerned. Anybody see something scary enough to justify the fall?

Riley Exploration email
Yesterday I got an email from Rick D'Angelo (Riley Exploration's Investor Relations rep) notifying me about the dividend increase and the date of the earnings announcement and conference call (Nov. 7). I haven't had a direct notification like this before from any other company. I'm not a big shareho...

Riley Exploration flying!
REPX is up over $3/share today thus far, and $16/share in the last month. The acquisition closed last week, and today the regular quarterly dividend was announced (no increase), but otherwise I have seen nothing to account for such a strong move. Is news leaking about the results of the water flood?...

Re: GPOR
The market appears to be expecting a BK filing. I've just been through that with DNR. Ugh.
The shareholders consistently get screwed while management comes out smelling like a rose, running a new company with a lot less debt.

Re: Gulfport Energy (GPOR) Update - March 2
GPOR is trading like bankruptcy is likely. You mention that cash flow in first half of 2020 should "keep the creditors off their back". How much danger of GPOR going tits up do you see? Any comments appreciated.

DNR issuing shares + cash for debt
For the second time in the last week DNR announced that they had issued shares plus a small amount of cash for debt. Looks to me like a smart move to strengthen their balance sheet, but the market doesn't like it. Again. Its hard for me to understand the market's utter distaste for DNR. Cash flow po...

Re: Natural Gas Price is SURGING - Nov 14
Does the "more than" also mean that they have to acquire spot gas - say at $4.50 to sell at $3.50 - in order to fulfill their obligations? If so it didn't seem to have helped them in the past when spot was much lower than the hedged price.
Thanks Dan.
