Seems like this would negatively impact producers; especially Marathon. After all, where is the oil supposed to go as refineries are already producing at max speed.

My understanding is that Manchin has been afraid that if he switched parties he would be challenged in a Repub primary, and lose. He is probably right. Why would Repub voters back him in a primary when there are lifelong Repubs for whom to vote. Any one of them would beat any Dem candidate in W VA

To all: Go to finra-markets.morningstar.com/BondCenter/. Just hit Search and then enter the name of the company in order to get info. As to buying, I happen to use TD. It is just as easy as buying stock.

I wonder about LPI's buyback announcement. They have so few shares outstanding that the buyback can only increase volatility. Secondly, they are buying high. I think giving a divvy would have been a better move, IMHO.

I received an email from Morningstar this morning re The Most Overvalued Energy Stocks. Among them were AR, 32% overvalued, DVN, 31%. CLR, 29%, and OKE, 21%. There were a number of others as well.
Of course, the author also expects lower oil prices due to Venezuela, Iran, UAE expanding production.
