What amazes me is that this is one of my worst years in the market because i have been in oil and gas and uranium. Uranium setntiment is at rock bottom and seems that way for OG, too. Uranium stocks like cameco still up for year but huge writedowns like OG. What is it going to take to change sentime...

Dan, vtle is one of my larger holdings and larger losses so I am also frustrated that wall street does not buys in. Have you spoken with mgmt to see if they understand the issues with the market price or are simply deaf to what it takes to get off the mat. Amazed no one has tried to take them out.

Dan. I own silverbow in my IRA. Since there are no tax consequences, would it make sense to sell it at this price and redeploy the money into some of the other stocks? Could always buy crescent third or fourth quarter.

I have noticed on my Fidelity account that there is a CRA of Canada and that there may be a withholding of 25% or some amount for dividends. how do you avoid the withholding taxes for these canadian companies in a taxable or non taxable account?

still frustrating that none of these deals, cash or stock deals have a premium. Understand that value could be added with bigger footprint on some of these but still would like deals at nice premiums, wish they would look at Dans valuations and make deals at those prices.

i posted last year on it when Rich Howe of Stockspinoff investing recommended it. Last year i received over 22.00/sh in dividends and the year before it was over 10.00 Interested in your take on it for i have enjoyed the divdidends and know they are slowly liquidating.

thanks for the update. I like dividends on some of my stocks but fully understand the benefits of paying down debt and buybacks. I prefer total return like you. I may add. STNG held up well. These sound like some of our OG stocks with big cash flows/share . thanks.

my only concern with ccj is it has run so much vs the others. However, when big money comes in they will gravitate to ccj, nxe because of liquidity. I am still holding my ccj but think EU, glatf, and some of others have bigger upside.

own all of those plus CCJ which has been the biggest winner. It is the institutional favorite. Also, own the ura, urnj, and urnm sruuf is safest in my opinion but when stocks take off rest will outperform.

more people are waking up. Kazatomprom and even Cameco are going to miss production targets which means even less supply available. The enrichers are sold out until late in this decade. Has been a huge run but could see even bigger spike. Like this sector more than oil and gas.

Agreed. what people don't know is that even if uranium doubled it is about 10% or so of overall costs of nuclear plant so not a big impact. Eventually funds will migrate from the ccj and nxe and other big companies and go to smaller ones producing in the future. buckle up.

hey maybe since no one is really responding on epg today that is a sentiment indicator. I know until mid last year my uranium stocks were awful and everyone hated them. it was certainly a good time to get in then. BTFD
