ONEOK Inc. (OKE) Valuation Update - Mar 27

I have finished my review of our updated profile on ONEOK (OKE), one of the large-cap midstream companies in our High Yield Income Portfolio. I rate it A++ for safety of the dividend, with 99% confidence that they will raise dividends year-after-year. The recent merger with Magellan Midstream Partne...

Electricity Demand = Natural Gas Demand

I just heard about this six weeks ago. It is a getting a lot of coverage. Natural stupidity IRINA SLAV < Very sharp lady that writes for OilPrice.com MAR 27 “Insatiable”. “Staggering”. “Voracious”. “Obscene”. “Ravenous”. “Shocking”. These are not adjectives describing EU leaders’ appetite for more ...

Re: Canadian taxes

They withhold 15% tax on taxable accounts, which you get back as a foreign tax credit when you file your tax return in the U.S.

They should not be withholding on shares held in an IRA.

Civitas Resources (CIVI) Valuation Update - Mar 26

I finished my review of the Civitas profile today. My updated forecast model and the profile have been posted to the EPG website. The Base + Variable Dividend yield should be around 10% this year. This is an Aggressive Growth company that also deserves to be one of the Elite Eight in our Sweet 16. M...

Matador Resources (MTDR) Valuation Update - Mar 26

I've updated my forecast model for the recent balance sheet restructuring that's been discussed here. The common stock sale reduces debt / interest expense and my guess is that a few more wells will be added to this year's drilling program, causing an increase in production guidance. For now, I'm ba...
