Question re 8/23 crude oil storage report

Today EIA reported crude oil inventory for week ending August 18 at 463.2 mm bbls (which is again down from the preceding week, and down from peak of about 535 mm bbls). Dan, you have posted (and I have read elsewhere) that appropriate storage level is said by many to be 400 mm bbls (Raymond James' ...

Re: Hi-Crush Partners LP (HCLP)

I am paying attention to the distribution reinstatement issue because of the probability that reinstatement could impact the unit price. Thus, from the above-quoted post, noted this: "HCLP will pay a distribution of between .33 and .50 in Q4. (my estimate and RayJay) That's over 25% yield."...

Re: Venezuela

Interesting commentary from Investor Village poster (leanne) on 8/15/17. Could Venezuela become a major hotspot, with Chinese and Russian geopolitical consequences, and in which the US decides it must intervene? Will VP Pence's travels result in a "Trump Corollary" to the Monroe Doctrine? ...

Re: Hi-Crush Partners LP (HCLP)

Here is one Investor Village poster's (maxx) view of HCLP (on 8/16/17): "So here is what is happening in Sand. I'll specifically address HCLP but they are all getting killed and it just doesn't look like it will stop. So here's the good. HCLP is 90% contracted for the Kermit Permian sand. This ...

Re: Fracking Industry Digs Texas Sand -- Market Talk

CS, while maintaining an outperform rating for HCLP, cut its price target rather dramatically from $24 to $12. That helps explain recent weakness. Clearly, reinstatement of a distribution would help valuation. Dan, or anyone, do you have any insight as to the company's thinking re when they will be ...
