Obama: Now he loves oil pipelines

Let me be clear that I think the Republicans are only slightly better than Democrats when it comes to energy issues. None of them seem to understand the magnitude of the problems we face. Obama realized that gasoline price will be a major issue in the election. Looks like he is now in the "Dril...

Re: ATPG

Obama was in Cushing, OK yesterday and now he claims to be the best friend the oil industry ever had. Per Mr. Obama, he is responsible for the increased oil production coming from North Dakota and Texas. Reports of a record number of people throwing up after his speech did not make the national medi...

Re: ATPG

ATPG is on our Watch List. We should find time to take a hard look at it next month. If oil prices stay over $100/bbl they may turn earnings positive by Q4. This one has a lot of issues to work out but they do have some incredible projects.

The Macondo blow out was a killer for these guys.

Re: CRZO selling assets to ARP

It is very important to understand that even though the sale has as Effective Date of 1-1-2012, the gas production and revenue for these properties will be included in CRZO reported earnings until the deal closes in late April. - Dan HOUSTON, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 03/16/2012 -- Carrizo Oil & Ga...

Re: CRZO selling assets to ARP

This is good news. March 20 - Standard & Poor's Ratings Services today said it raised it issue rating on Houston-based Carrizo Oil & Gas Inc.'s (Carrizo) senior unsecured notes to 'B' (same as the corporate credit rating on the company) from 'B-', and revised its recovery rating on the notes...

Re: CRZO selling assets to ARP

..BMO Capital increased its target on Carrizo to $40/share after the company sold some of its Barnett shale assets. The firm thinks that the sale closes the company's cash flow deficit this year while increasing investors' attention on the positive attributes of the company's Eagle Ford Shale asset....

Ethanol: I told you so!

Ethanol Can't Get a Break Not long after the ethanol craze kicked in, the Union of Concerned Scientists released a report that analyzed the complete lifecycle emissions of ethanol. The results did not sit well with those seeking a more sustainable and fiscally-responsible transportation fuel. Accord...

Re: AXAS

I will have the updated forecast posted under the Watch List Tab tonight. My EPS forecast will be much lower than the current First Call estimate for 2012 because First Call has yet to adjust some high forecasts for their disappointing Q4 results. AXAS is having some difficulties, typical for a smal...
