Re: EIA - Natural Gas Storage Report - Sept 7

Another factor to consider is that we continue to shift from coal to gas power production. During the past 5 years the amount of gas used for power generation has risen just over 21% for a CAGR of 4.0%. Also, more folks are shifting to heat pumps for heating and cooling, so winter electric demand is...

Re: Haynesville Rigs

Thanks Chuck!

Jerry giving up preferred shares makes me think he wants to keep things the way that they are and let the public run up the share prices over the next 5 years. Hopefully that's the case.

Re: Haynesville Rigs

Speaking of the Haynesville, I'm curious what folks thing of Comstock as a Takeover Target. I really like their huge inventory and low costs. Getting half of international gas prices would be awesome. However, I have to wonder if there is some reason they might be a takeover target. I'd like to own ...

Re: Coterra Energy (CTRA) Update - Aug 10

The CTRA forecast model seems to have dropped off the High Yield page.

Thanks

Re: Crude and NG getting crushed

Ever since the early 70s I’ve been frustrated by this country’s inability to make sensible long term energy and natural resources decisions. The Chinese make plans, we peddle mantras like green, brown, free market, MBA logic. Meanwhile China signs 30-40 year contracts that simply take resources off ...

Re: Oil & Gas Prices - Mar 28

Forgive the formatting below. The below table represents EPG stocks that I either own or am following. Using the most recent EPG forecast models, and using historic prices for WTI and Henry Hub, from the past 4 months, I worked backward to determine the Average Free Cash Flow Multiplier that Wall St...

Re: Oil & Gas Prices - Mar 28

It looks like we will end the winter season about 300 bcf above the 5 year.
As Dan has said many times, there is no Nat Gas Glut!

So is this just paper traders still ditching gas contracts from the warm winter?
