Re: NG gets better after 2012 - CHK prd stays flat

Thanks. I will take a look.

Long-term I am very bullish on natural gas. Short-term the outlook is not good. Only a record cold winter will help NG in the next year.

We should all thank God for our abundant supply of natural gas. Without it our economy would be heading over the cliff today.

GTE

As usual in a BEAR market, investors overacted to a couple dry holes in their operations update. GTE is a true exploration company. There are going to be a few dry holes each year . Look for a rebound on Monday. I have just posted an updated forecast for GTE under the Sweet 16 Tab. Take a hard look ...

Re: For What It's Worth

IMO the fact that WTI crude oil closed over $101/bbl for the week is very bullish. It usually takes a 3rd breach of major resistance ($100/bbl) to set a new floor but we may have seen it today. Regardless, the Supply / Demand fundamentals for crude oil look quite strong to me. Most of the E&P co...

Re: Newt Gingrich

You should all take the time to go through the BP World Energy Outlook - 2030 , which is available to anyone from our Home Page. I want you to notice how dependent the world will become on Iran and Iraq over the next decade. Honestly, do we really want to be dependent on these two nut case countrie...

Re: GTE is picking up the pace

Exploration companies do drill dry holes from time-to-time. This is the same problem we have with FXEN. The market puts too much weight on each exploration well. My forecast model is based on the development of what they have already discovered. I have nothing in my models for exploration wells. GTE...

Natural Gas = Bearish

I remain bearish on Natural Gas prices. The amount of gas in storage is at a record high as we begin the winter heating season. Working gas in storage was 3,851 Bcf as of Friday, November 25, 2011, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net decline of 1 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were...

Re: Newt Gingrich

If I were President there would bea $50/bbl tarriff on oil imports from outside the western hemisphere. I agree 1,000% that America needs to get the heck out of the Middle East. The true cost of that oil is way to high . It is time to tell China (which now gets much more Middle East oil than we do) ...
