This wasn't talk about too much but worth watching......

We had a fire at the Whiting, IN refinery and that also raised concerns about diesel fuels in the Midwest. We think this spread will continue to be volatile but we think it will come and believe gasoline is undervalued basis diesel but diesel definitely should continue to lead.

The Whiting refinery can produce 10 million gallons (~277,000 barrels) of gasoline, 4 million gallons of diesel, and 2 million gallons of jet fuel each day; it is capable of producing enough gasoline every day to support the daily travel of 7 million cars, the refinery fact sheet claims.

4 million gallons of diesel per day offline . wow this is huge. I wonder what our Secretary of Energy is doing other than sending out letters to oil companies not to gouge
