Bloomberg is reporting that U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said it was "unlikely"
the U.S. and Iran would reach a new nuclear deal anytime soon. He was quoted as
saying, “what we’ve seen over the last week or so in Iran’s response to the proposal put
forward by the European Union is clearly a step backward and makes prospects for an
agreement in the near-term, I would say, unlikely. Iran seems either unwilling or unable
to do what’s necessary to reach an agreement and they continue to try to introduce
extraneous issues to the negotiations that make an agreement less likely.”

• Bloomberg is reporting that an oil well at the Shadegan field in Iran’s southwestern
Khuzestan province was deliberately set on fire at around 6:20 a.m. local time this
morning, according to the managing director of Maroun Oil and Gas Production Co. The
Shadegan field has crude production capacity of 110,000 Bopd.

MY TAKE: You can cross FEAR of more Iran oil coming to the market off your list.
