As of the 7 AM EDT morning update: Natural gas inventories are projected to decline by 602 BCF during the 4-week period from January 14 to February 10, a bearish 101 BCF smaller than the 5-year average. It would be the 15th smallest 4-week withdrawal for the January 14 to February 10 time period in the 23-year period dating back to 1994. Should the projection verify, natural gas inventories would fall to 2218 BCF, meaning that the current natural gas storagesurplus versus the 5-year average0 will widen from 34 BCF to 135 BCF.
