Is the U.S. heady to a Civil War?

Post by dan_s »

For a rational discussion go here: https://thenewamerican.com/triggering-a ... civil-war/

My take is when wacko ideas like "defund the police" or "kneeling for our national anthem" become acceptable, we have a serious problem. I recently read two futuristic books that are based on the "2027 Treaty of St. Louis" where the Blue and the Red states become so divided on how the U.S. should be governed that they decide to split the country in half with the "Reds" controlling the Central U.S. & the South and the "Blues" controlling both coastal regions and the Great Lakes Region. Armed conflicts start when people in southern Ohio, Indiana and Illinois want to move to the Red areas and the Blue government builds walls to keep them in.

The Red President is Elizabeth Warren.
