kwk
Re: kwk
KWK was in our Sweet 16 about seven years ago and it was a real winner for us. It is heavily weighted to gas and got killed when gas prices dropped to $2.00. Take a look at the five year chart. I think there are much better choices today.
I do like the management team but the balance sheet is ugly.

I think the value of KWK if there is any is their land holdings in key areas - in particular the Horn River Basin - which may be JV'd in my lifetime. Also, there was some transaction in the Permian Basin. Here is a post from the Yahoo chat board.dan_s wrote:KWK was in our Sweet 16 about seven years ago and it was a real winner for us. Value for KWK in the Permian Basin
We are so wrapped up in waiting for the HRB deal that has anyone noticed that AEP paid 2.5 billion dollars for 63,000 acres in the Permian Basin. KWK owns 100,000 acres in the Permian....... so what is that worth folks?
