Fracking will NEVER be banned. The reason is because it can't be, no matter how much the Left hates the oil, gas and coal industry.
North American is the ONLY region in the world where oil production is going up
Development of the vast North American Shale Plays and the Canadian Oil Sands is why
Horizontal drilling + advancements in fracing technology is absolutely necessary to harvest oil & gas from tight shale. All of the production growth coming from the Bakken, Eagle Ford and Permian Basin is because of fracing.
If governments ban fracing they have signed their own death warrant. Crude oil prices will zoom past $200/bbl and the global economy will go into a deep depression. Riots and war will follow. The global standard of living will drop like a rock and the gap between the rich and the poor will widen.
