Harold Hamm, chairman of Continental Resources Inc., the Oklahoma City-based energy company that focuses much of its exploration in the Bakken of North Dakota and Montana, was ordered to pay $972 million to his wife as part of a divorce proceeding completed today, according to an 80-page court ruling.
If this is all he has to pay, his lawyers did a great job.

Hamm is not out of the woods yet, his ex-wife is appealing the divorce settlement. Wonder which one has the better divorce attorneys?
