GST Preferred

Post by bellwj »

Looks like the Gastar preferreds are back on a waterfall, similar to late September. At that time, Dan suggested a big fund was liquidating their position. Wondering if this is deja vu all over again (tip of the hat to Yogi), or if the test results from Oklahoma were not as good as many expect.

it seems there are few buyers of the pref if test results were bad, the common would really tank also if the sale of the gas properties does not occur it may spell more trouble

no information is difficult

I doubt we see any news from Gastar until the end of November. That does not mean anything is wrong. There is just no need to put out daily reports on the Meramec well.

We are heading back to the states today. i will be in Houston late on Saturday.

My original questions was won't all the adjacent MHR acreage that will probably be on the market soon interfere with GST's deal to sell their Marcellus/Utica properties. My question is on the previous page.

Chapter 11 process takes forever, so the MHR leasehold will not be on the market anytime soon.

When I talked to Gastar a few weeks ago they said their was a lot of interest in their package. TPH knows what they are doing and should get them a good price.
