Sweet 16 Updates - May 12

Post by dan_s »

All of the Sweet 16 forecast/valuation models are now up-to-date.
> Valuations are based on $65/bbl WTI oil price for all future periods.
> I am assuming that natural gas will average $2.75/mcf at Henry Hub this year and $2.50/mcf in 2019. A HOT SUMMER can definitely change this assumption.

All of the Sweet 16 reported solid Q1 results with "Adjusted Earnings" that beat my forecasts, except for Devon Energy.

Devon and RSP Permian are being dropped from the Sweet 16 in my next newsletter. I will be focused on the Small-Cap Growth Portfolio companies next week and will announce the replacements by next Friday.

Q1 results were GOOD and Q2 results are going to be EXCELLENT. Crude oil prices should be at least $5/bbl higher Q over Q and natural gas and NGL prices are also firming up.

We are in "Stage 4" of this rebound. The Wall Street Herd is just starting to rotate into this sector. Lots of upside from here.

I am speaking to the Houston Investor Association on Saturday morning, May 12. Stop by if you live in the area.
They meet at the Trini Mendenhall Community Center, 1414 Wirt Road, Houston, Texas
My presentation starts at 10:15 AM

I have been cracking the whip on the interns, so we will be publishing profiles on most of the Sweet 16 this coming week.
> CPE and RRC are done and on the website now.
> PXD is done and should be in your inbox
> FANG is done and should be in your inbox on Monday morning.
> AR, CLR, CXO, EOG, MTDR, PDCE are all sitting here waiting on my final review.
