3Q21 Pre-Earnings Supplemental & Hedges Addions
Our view: EOG's pre-quarter commodity pricing and hedging update showed
a cash settled hedge loss that was slightly lower than our expectaons. The
company also added a fair amount of natural gas hedges in 2022-2024 and
modestly increased oil hedges. The updated hedge book decreases our EPS/CFPS
estimates with swap prices below our recently increased commodity forecasts.
