Take a look at our Watch List and you will see the candidates for promotion to the Sweet 16.

The whole sector is trading at ridiculous multiples if you believe (like I do) that high oil prices are here to stay. We have the potential for a very big year in 2012.

I am now working on a new "Sweet 16 Detailed Update" that I hope to send out to all of our Premium Members on Monday. It will show which companies are being dropped back to the Watch List.

After next week's luncheon I will be going back over the forecasts of each company on our Watch List to determine which companies I want to promote to the Sweet-16.

Frankly, there is nothing wrong with any of the current Sweet 16, including the Canadian based companies that have done so poorly this year. The Sweet 16 is down 3.7% YTD. If I take out the four Canadians (GTE, PBG, PMG and TGA) the other twelve are up 8.5%. I still have not decided if all of them will be dropped back to the Watch List. TGA clearly has big production growth locked in for 2012 and they all have significant upside from their current depressed prices.
