The Largest Gas Field Europe Can't Use
The Largest Gas Field Europe Can't Use
The Netherlands is taking steps to close the natgas fields in Groningen; Europe's largest. They expect it to be closed by the end of next year. Reason? The ground is such that the drilling has been causing a series of earthquakes, which are damaging property, and authorities are concerned that it will get worse. Looks like another straw about to be added to the camel's back.
