Working gas in storage was 2,366 Bcf as of Friday, February 3, 2023, according to EIA estimates.
This represents a net decrease of 217 Bcf from the previous week.
Stocks were 233 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 117 Bcf above the five-year average of 2,249 Bcf.
At 2,366 Bcf, total working gas is within the five-year historical range.
My WAG was a draw of 220 Bcf.
My WAG for storage level on March 31 is 1,700 Bcf, about 150 Bcf above the five year average.

There are 8 more weeks of draws from storage to be reported by EIA. I now expect colder than normal weather to move into the eastern U.S. by the end of February. A cold March should help ngas prices.
