E&P Top Well Results from ATB Research:
Top Saskatchewan Well Results for December
GeoSCOUT Updated its Well Results for Saskatchewan for the Month of December. Inside,
we break out the top 10 wells based on monthly volumes for oil wells, Viking wells,
Mississippian wells, SW SK oil wells, and heavy oil wells (top three in each category highlighted
below).

Best Performing Oil Wells in SK for December (All Plays):Key Takeaways:

• Surge Energy had two of its 7-28 Steelman Frobisher wells debut in the top two spots on the
top 10 monthly oil volumes list, producing 9.1-10.3 mbbl since coming online in November.
The two wells also placed in the top 10 daily oil production list for December with production
of 306-336 bbl/d in December.

• Crescent Point Energy had its 14-23 Viewfield Bakken well debut on the top 10 monthly oil
volumes list and the top 10 daily oil production list for December, producing 7.9 mbbl at a
rate of 256 bbl/d since coming online in October. The Company also had its 11-1 Huntoon
Frobisher well debut on the top 10 daily oil production list with production of 255 bbl/d
during December after coming online the same month.

• Whitecap Resources saw its 5-2 Alida well and its 15-29 Weyburn Frobisher well appear in
the top 10 monthly oil volumes list and the top 10 daily oil production list with production of
7.6 mbbl (254 bbl/d) and 7.4 mbbl (241 bbl/d), respectively, during the month of December.

• Axial Exploration’s 101/7-21 and 102/7-21 Frobisher wells debuted on the top 10 daily oil
production list and the top 10 monthly oil volumes list with production of 7.2-7.7 mbbl during
December, producing at a rate of 242-251 bbl/d. The first well was brought online in April,
and the second came online during December.

Best Performing Viking Wells in Saskatchewan for December: Key Takeaways:

Whitecap Resources saw eight of its wells place in both the top 10 monthly Viking volumes
and daily Viking production rates lists, with production of 3.4-4.3 mbbl (109-142 bbl/d) in
December. Its 15-21 Viking well and 7-17 Dodsland Viking well were debut entrants on both
lists, producing 3.9 mbbl (126 bbl/d) and 3.6 mbbl (116 bbl/d) in December after coming
online in November and July, respectively.

• Baytex Energy had its 14-5 Eureka Viking well debut in the top 10 monthly Viking volumes
list and the top 10 daily Viking production list with production of 3.2 mbbl (104 bbl/d) during
December, after having come online in September.

Best Performing Mississippian Oil Wells in Saskatchewan for December
Key Takeaways:


• Surge Energy saw its 104/7-28 and 106/7-28 Steelman Frobisher wells debut in both the top
10 Mississippian monthly volumes list and top 10 daily production list, producing 9.1-10.3
mbbl (306-336 bbl/d) since coming online November. The Company also saw its 10-29 and
14-29 Steelman Frobisher wells debut in the top 10 Mississippian cumulative yearly volumes
list, producing 47.1 mbbl and 42.6 mbbl, respectively, since coming online in February and
March.

• ROK Resources’ 6-25 Glen Ewan Frobisher well debuted at first place on the top 10
Mississippian daily production list, producing at a rate of 392 bbl/d in December after coming
online the same month; the well was online for 336 hours during the month.

• Axial Exploration had its 7-21 Frobisher well debut on both top 10 Mississippian monthly
volumes list and top 10 daily production list with 7.2 mbbl (242 bbl/d) of production in
December; the well came online in December and produced for 719 monthly hours.
