I have updated my forecast/valuation model for Coterra. It will be available on the EPG website this afternoon.
At the time of this post CTRA was trading at $25.27, up 3.6% today.
I have increased my valuation by $2 to $34 per share, primarily because the company's Adjusted Operating Cash Flow beat my forecast and they have increased their production guidance. Plus, I am gaining more confidence in my 2026 forecast, which is looking very strong.
My 2026 forecast is based on production of 800,000 Boepd with a mix of 60.0% natural gas, 17.5% NGLs and 22.5% crude oil. With revenues going up to $8.3 billion in 2026, Coterra should generate close to $5.2 billion of operating cash flow, approximately $7.00/share.
TipRanks: "Based on 15 Wall Street analysts offering 12 month price targets for Coterra Energy in the last 3 months. The average price target is $32.33 with a high forecast of $38.00 and a low forecast of $26.00. The average price target represents a 27.79% change from the last price of $25.30." < Five analysts have updated their price targets today.
