Note from Zacks Investment Research that I received this morning. This is why SEI is up 80% year over year. My comments are in blue.
-------------------------------
The AI boom is stretching America's power system to its limit - and faster than expected.
Data centers are scaling at record speed. AI workloads are exploding. And according to industry estimates, upcoming infrastructure could require the equivalent of 17 reactors' worth of power just to keep pace. < Building more than 100 natural gas fired power plants is the only near-term solution to this level of electricity demand. Including rapidly increasing LNG export capacity is why demand for U.S. natural gas will be doing up my MORE THAN 5 Bcfpd year EACH YEAR for at least the next five years. Yes, nuclear power plants are part of the long-term solution, but they take MUCH LONGER to get build and AI Data Centers are not going to build their own nuclear power plants. That means that $Trillions of capital will be required to upgrade the U.S. electricity grid.
That kind of demand doesn't just stress the grid - it creates entirely new investment setups.
While investors debate whether AI is in a bubble or a long-term boom, the part of the story that isn't swinging with market sentiment is power. AI needs enormous amounts of it, all day, every day - and the U.S. grid wasn't designed for this reality.
Which is why more investors are looking past the tech stocks and toward the companies positioned directly in the path of these rising energy needs.
One U.S.-Nasdaq- company is stepping into that pressure - right as Big Tech, federal planning, and new data center projects collide into the same bottleneck.
If you're following the infrastructure behind AI, this overlooked angle is becoming impossible to miss.

Snow Lake Energy (Nasdaq: LITM) is the company being recommended by Zacks. I have no opinion on it.
