Re: Small-Caps that will benefit from higher oil prices
Most of the companies that Dan mentioned are very liquid oriented with oil + NGL levels at 80-85% or higher.
Exceptions are Rubellite (67% liquids), Inplay Oil (60%), and Northern Oil and Gas (54%).
Not all companies will benefit in the same way from higher oil prices, mostly as they have hedged a substantial part of their oil production.
Examples are Riley Exploration (62%), and Northern Oil and Gas (60%), Ring Energy (58%), and Inplay Oil (49%).
If you are looking for companies with a low share of their oil production hedged, then Hemisphere (5%), Rubellite (8%), Surge Energy (10%), and Kolibri Global (19%) are good choices.
