Obama's Vacation

Post by dan_s »

The Obama's deserve an annual vacation. Everyone that works hard does. However, most people don't take vacations at the expense of their employers.

Obama's two round trips to Hawaii cost the American taxpayers $8 million. Why did they go to Hawaii in the first place whey they knew the President was needed in Washington to negotiate the Fiscal Cliff agreement? Am I the only one that see this as total insane behavior?

Leadership 101: Mastery of Self

Real leaders know that it is unrealistic to expect their followers to do something if the leader is doing something polar opposite. The CEO of a public company would never expect his employees to accept a pay cut for the good of the organization if they voted themselves a huge raise or took lavish vacations at company expense. Real leaders must have Mastery of Self, which means that they act in accordance with the goals they have established for their organizations.

"Obama" and "leader" in the same sentence? Or even on the same page? Or in the same book? lol

IMO everyone in Washington should be ashamed of how they keep putting their personal political interests over the good of the country. The media is also shameful. This ever increasing debt will crush the country. All China has to do is quit buying our worthless debt and the interest rate goes up. When that happens the U.S. is doomed to fail. History will treat this gang of idiots poorly if they do not correct this soon.

I believe it is the Fed that is now buying the debt - correct?

Some but not all. As long as the Fed can keep printing money we are OK?
