Thanks for posting. This is good stuff and I hope all of you take the time to listen to the 30 minute presentation at the link above.

IMO we've had an incredible lack of leadership from both parties in Washington since Reagan left office. This country has some serious fiscal problems that must be addressed soon. The lying about the inflation rate, national debt and the unemployment rate is senseless. Although it is just a drop in the bucket, I would love to see an effort to reduce the wasteful spending. Surely both parties can agree on that!

One reason I think oil prices will stay high is that I believe inflation is much worse than the "official" reported rate. Oil is a hedge against inflation.
