Back in the 70's I got an accounting degree and a Masters in Taxation. I worked in public accounting and had a lot of experience working with the Feds. So far, I have not seen a single thing the Feds do better and cheaper than the private sector. At Hess, I spent six years working on a case that went to Tax Court. It was a very frustrating experience, although it turned out well for Hess ($160 million refund). Frankly, we won the case because the Feds team was totally incompetent. I am sure the Feds think Obamacare will be wonderful, but I fear it is just another government program that will fail after years of fraud and abuse. This time the cost could be very high.
