the LSGI december report

Post by setliff »

Joe, just read the report and the IEA does not mention what happens when some other countries develop their tight shale plays. this can not be just a usa geological phenomenon. bound to happen--your comments?

There is shale in a few other countries but they lack the infrastructure to develop it. It may happen a decade from now, but there will be no Bakken or Eagle Ford like development in another country anytime soon.

The Bakken and Eagle Ford came on strong because they sit in North Dakota and Texas, two states very friendly to the oil business. More important, they both sit where there was a lot of infrastructure already.
