If you are one of our Founding Members that joined last year in April or May you can do me a big favor by mailing in your annual renewal fee of $125/year. It will save us the cost and hassle of mailing out invoices. You will stay at this rate as long as you maintain your membership. - Dan

Make the check payable to DMS Publishing, LLC

I really appreciate your continued support. Your faith in us is what got EPG off the ground.

We have some exciting things in the works for this year. We are still working out some bugs on the new website but it looks great and it gives us a lot more functionality. We are lining up some great speakers and companies for our luncheons and we hope to hold our first small-cap conference in Houston this year. We met with a potential co-sponsor this morning so I'm pumped. - Dan

or will you just take the fee, when it is due, from the credit card on file?

We can do that but we aren't doing it yet. Plus, the bank charges us a processing fee.
Several "Founding Members" have already sent me checks.
If you want Kim to charge your credit card send her an e-mail: EnergyProspectus@gmail.com

Thanks for the first great year! I have to be more attentive to the awesome selections - did great with TGA, BEXP, XEC and PBG.

Check is "in the mail" - I have tried to keep the radiation to a minimum! Actually quite calm lately in Tokyo with earthquakes "down" to just 5 and 6 magnitude. The economy here will start to show just how much is affected in a month or so - if they release the data... The economy is worse than many will believe - this is still an ongoing disaster and long strains cause more bankruptcy. Interesting to note that companies well beyond the affected area are in bad shape. Such a shame as the economy was actually looking like it had solid footing after 15 years.....

Look for amazing innovation in Energy Savings, Tokyo will be very quick to adapt as the needed "60 GW" of power will likely be much less - right now they may have 50 GW available. In a pinch, it is amazing how far people will go to reduce power and I expect the "consensus culture" of Japan to follow through. Already everything is lighted dimly and not the usual scene of neon on steroids - our local pachinko parlor has a dark entrance and the sounds blaring are subdued.

My favorite idea so far is planting goya over your windows. Goya is a fruit from the Okinawa region and grows on a vine which is very leafy and will shade your windows facing the sun. It is "healthy" - and that means an acquired taste... really, really bitter. I actually like it - add a few slices in a salad for umph!

It is a great time to visit - Kyoto, Kanazawa and any other place south has no issues whatsoever - and now no tourists. I may just stay here all summer and stimulate the economy a bit. Nikko has just 5% of its normal visitors...

I wish all founding members a safe and prosperous second year!!!

Cheers, Mingya

Thanks for the updates. We should all keep Japan in our prayers.

As Japan gets into the rebuilding process it should be quite bullish for energy and commodities in general. In the newsletter this week I have a few comments. Increasing coal prices should give some much needed support to natural gas prices. North America does not export natural gas so there will be little direct impact on demand.

GPOR could be the biggest winner. They have a major gas discovery in Thailand.

Kim will be sending e-mail reminders to all Founding Members that annual renewals are now due.

We continue to pick up new member and we are now up to 290. You all can help us "spread the word" about EPG by forwarding our newsletter to all your contacts that might be interested. I believe this is going to be a very good year for our Sweet 16 Growth Portfolio stocks.

Hang tough over there and thanks for your support.

Sorry, the special rate for Founding Members was only good last April and May. Premium Membership is now $350/year and we have cancelled the Basic Membership.

Our costs have gone up. Kim is actually "demanding" a living wage now. My goal, once we get to 500 members, is to hire another analyst. There are so many other energy companies I'd like to take a look at.

BTW I'm in discussions with some groups that are going to make our Premium Membership even more valuable.
