All of the saber rattling between the U.S. and North Korea is real, but war seems unlikely to me because I believe China will not let that happen. They certainly do not want a war on their doorstep and I believe China has the ability to put a lot of pressure on NK.
In my opinion, a more serious threat to U.S. vital interests in Iran. This is a well-written article on the topic:
