A big storm is going to hit Florida first and then hug the East Coast. Topical force winds and lots of rain in New England on Sunday. If you saw the movie "The Perfect Storm", that is what this looks like.

The November forecast is very bullish for natural gas. This weekend's storm is going to spin counter-clockwise and drag very cold air down through the Great Lakes region all the way to the Gulf Coast. Snow in the Upper Midwest. Draws from natural gas storage in the first half of November are rare, but it looks like that is where we are heading.

I was thinking of going a World Series game this weekend until I found out that standing room only tickets are $750 and nose bleed sections are $1,000. The seats in field level start at $5,000.
If you watched the game last night, the final three innings may be the best finish to a world series game in decades. Both teams have some great hitters and/or not much pitching after you get past the first few guys. That was the first World Series game win by the Astros in the history of the franchise.
I grew up in St. Louis in the 60s and 70s when they were great. After Hurricane Harvey, this city really needed this from the baseball team.

Especially if you were a Houston FAN.

Baseball is such a game of inches. If LA's right fielder makes the catch in the 8th inning that went off of his glove into the stands, Astros lose the game. The ball in the third inning that went off the LA center fielders hat right to the left fielder could have been an in the park home run.
I could not believe several of the home runs. A few looked like easy fly balls when they were hit. I guess the dry air makes the ball carry there.
Regardless, Houston fans are in for a treat this weekend as the ballpark will be full of energy. I went to some Cardinal World Series games that were "electric".
