"Peak Demand" just another lie

“There is no sign of peak demand right now,” said Chevron CEO John Watson, an economist by training, who is retiring in early 2018. “For the next 10 or 20 years, we expect to see oil demand growth.”
I have been in the oil & gas industry for almost 40 years. There have been many claims during that period that "something" would replace oil. The new energy source NEVER pans out and NOTHING that I see now can come close to replacing oil and the primary transportation fuel. Plus, liquid petroleum products are the feedstock for many items we use each day.
