Take a look at the Chicago 10-day forecast here: https://www.wunderground.com/forecast/u ... alwx_10day
This will tell you why I believe we may see a draw from natural gas storage of more than 300 BCF for the week ending January 5.
We have not had a 300+ draw from storage in over six years. The largest one week draw was 288 BCF in January, 2014.
The week ending December 22 was mild weather, so this weeks ngas storage report won't show much of a draw. s/b close to the 5-year average of 114 BCF.
The first week of January, 2018 will be the coldest in the eastern U.S. in many decades. See daily update at: https://www.weatherbell.com/premium/
For those of you in Dallas, if you have Cotton Bowl tickets you may want to sell them. Sitting through a football game played in the teens is terrible.
