Sub-Freezing in Houston is worse than Sub-Zero in Chicago. I grew up in St. Louis and Susan grew up in Tulsa. We laugh every time Houston goes into a panic because of sub-freezing weather. It does cause a lot of plant damage, so maybe we should invest in nurseries that sell tropical plants since so many palm trees will need to be replaced.
